  The two knobs on the opposite side of the handle are designed to keep the mute from rolling on its side when the mute is leaning on the floor horizontally. The handle will then be positioned in a very convenient and easy to grab, vertical position.
We added three little feet at the bottom of the mute that will prevent the mute from being in contact with the floor and scratching the beautiful lacquer.
